This inspection identifies the scope of work required by the city when a
property is to be converted into condos.
Part of the city’s requirement to condo convertion is having a Health and Safety
inspection performed by the housing department, local plumbing and electrical
district inspectors. It addresses conditions in the property that may have not
been performed with benefit of permit.
Our inspection and report mimics the city’s reports and focuses on
non-conforming building, plumbing, and electrical components, which may require
correction or repair in order to condo convert. Once the city performs
its inspection, you are then responsible for completing all repairs outlined in
their report whether or not you move forward with the condo convertion.
